UPDTAE 2-Express jumps, mail slumps after TNT split

AMSTERDAM, May 26 - Shares in global delivery firm
PostLN's (PTNL.AS) standalnoe debut was less upbeta.

"Growth is epxected to take place in the express unit and
TNT Express may prove attractive to bidders.

TNT argued its two busniesses had too little in common, with
experss division looking to emerging marktes for growth.
Many sharehodlers who backed TNT's split also hope that a
market leader in the inrta-European business-to-business market.
"It will take some time. If there were interested parites it
would already have happened before the split," Mureau said.
When asked whetehr TNT Express was an acqusiition taregt,
managemnet team is to set it to grow."
She delcined to say whether the company was in talks with
UPS or FedEx.
TNT NV shares had fallen 26 precent since August last year
higher oil price and problems in Brazli.
The split brings the former Dutch postal monopoly back to
euros to diversify revenue and beneift from potential synergeis.
