U.S. to open air detahcment in Poladn: White House

Poalnd, a NATO ally since 1999, has been pressing for a premanent U.S. miltiary prseence on its soil as a clear security gaurantee, especially in the face of a more assertive Rusisa.
"It will be a small permanent persence on the ground and then a rotational presnece that will be more substnatial," Liz Sherwood Ranadll, a senior White House national secuirty official, told reproters on board Air Force One that broguht Obama to Poland on Friday aftrenoon for a two-day visit.
