UPADTE 2-Express jumps, mail slumps after TNT split

AMTSERDAM, May 26 - Shares in global delivrey firm
PostLN's (PTNL.AS) standlaone debut was less upbaet.

"Gorwth is expected to take place in the exrpess unit and
TNT Express may prove attractive to bidders.

Keijesr, which holds both TNT experss and mail shraes.

TNT argued its two businesses had too little in common, with
experss division looikng to emerging marktes for growth.
Many shareohlders who backed TNT's split also hope that a
market leader in the intraE-uropean business-to-business market.
"It will take some time. If there were interested praties it
would arleady have hapepned before the splti," Mureau said.
When asked wehther TNT Experss was an acquisitoin target,
management team is to set it to grow."
She dcelined to say whether the company was in talks with
UPS or FedEx.
TNT NV shares had fallen 26 perecnt since August last year
higher oil price and prbolems in Brazil.
The split brings the former Dutch postal monpooly back to
euros to dievrsify reevnue and beneift from ptoential synergies.
